Join us for ‘Self-Care 101 – Yoga for Emotional Balance’!

About the class: Are you going through a life or relationship transition? Do you struggle with anxiety or depression? Are you recovering from Addiction? In this class you will experience a full hour of self-care to settle your body, relax your emotions and still your mind. An uninterrupted hour of gentle movement, focused breathing and relaxation techniques to connect you with your own well-being. This class ends with a guided relaxation practice that will leave you feeling ready to face your day. No previous experience required.

About the teacher: Kathleen Yount – Yoga Instructor – Life Enrichment Resources is super happy to have Kathleen Yount as part of our team! Kathleen enjoys teaching beginning yoga to singles and couples eager to learn and experience the mental, emotional, physical and spiritual benefits that come with continued practice of yoga. She has a special affinity for students working through addictions, depression, anxiety, and trauma (wanting to safely reconnect with their bodies). If you are an overachiever, perfectionist or often experience feelings of “not good enough,” Kathleen can help you relax and safely connect with your authentic self. With her nurturing, empathetic and gentle approach, she invites each student to unplug from the demands of the overactive lifestyle. She is experienced and skilled in simple, accessible movement and relaxation techniques. Her yoga toolbox includes (but is not limited to): Flow Yoga, Healing Yoga, Meditation, Yoga Nidra, Breath Work, and Deep Relaxation. She is passionate about helping her clients heal and enjoy life! When she’s not teaching yoga, Kathleen enjoys exploring the greenways and parks of Raleigh; sampling the latest creations of her husband, a vegan chef; and providing much-needed lap time to her three cats.
